The trip to the spa in Baden used to be called “Badenfahrt” and is still celebrated in the town every five to ten years. Even though the Belle Epoque has long passed, you can still enjoy spa treatments today, right here at the Blume. Our hotel offers everything you need for it: a modern SPA and Switzerland’s most mineral-rich thermal water, which flows directly from the source “big hot stone” into the tub.

We rely on hydropower.

The natural warmth and power of the thermal springs have been used in Baden for 2,000 years. At the surface, the 47-degree hot water provides a sense of well-being and serves as the basis for various wellness treatments as well as the hotel’s own body care lotion “Aqua Salus”, which Patrik Erne personally created for the Blume.

I was born and raised in Zurich. In 2011 I transformed from "office staple" to passionate therapist with heart and soul. I’ve been with the Blume team since 2016. I love good food, hiking, reading, yoga and much more. Good conversations with like-minded people are important to me.

I’m married with two children. I’ve been a member of the Blume team since 2012. At times, I am your waitress. My favorite place to relax is in the garden.

With a glass of sparkling AMMONIT Secco from our own vineyard, we will then welcome you to the Gallery on the first floor, where you will enjoy your candlelight dinner.

Start your One Night Dream in the afternoon or early evening with a candlelight bath in our nostalgic double bathrooms. Slip into our thermal waters against a backdrop of candles and roses. After the soothing bath, nourish and care for your skin with the hotel’s own “Aqua Salus” body lotion, made with thermal water from Baden. For a special Candlelight Bath menu we welcome you on the first-floor Gallery with a glass of sparkling AMMONIT Secco from our own vineyard. You will spend the night in one of our beautiful double rooms or in the Orchid Suite. The next morning, enjoy a rich breakfast buffet and complete your short getaway with a relaxing back massage.

Gemstone massage
Gemstone massages are much more than “just” relaxing massages.

The combination of massage and gemstones creates a very deep effect that holistically captures the body, mind and spirit. Thanks to their balancing properties, the gemstones can wonderfully counteract stress, feelings of anxiety and negative energies.

The gemstone massage is a combination of intense body touch with the harmonious healing power of gemstones. It relieves tension and stiffness and promotes blood circulation.

A better body feeling sets in, you feel comfortable in your skin and are mentally relaxed. Body, mind and soul are brought back into harmony.

Time required at least 50 minutes.

Chakra balancing
This energetic application brings your body back into harmony. The treatment is carried out through the transfer of energy with the hands. Body, mind and soul are brought back into harmony.

Note: this treatment can also be performed in addition to the classic massage.

Time required approx. 15 to 20 minutes.

Hot stone massage
The hot stone massage is a soothing treatment with warm lava stones. The soothing treatment with warm lava stones is suitable not only for deep-seated tension, it also promotes relaxation and revitalises. The immune defences are also strengthened. The warmth provides a pleasant feeling especially in the cool winter months and at the same time gently calms the mind.

Stress, physical ailments and psychological conflicts disturb the flow of energy in the body. Hot stone massage stimulates blood circulation, detoxification, lymphatic activity and metabolism. In this way, body, mind and soul are brought back into harmony.

Note: The duration of treatment must be at least 60 min but preferably 90 min. Also to be included is the preparation time for warming up the stones (30 min).
