Even the founding fathers of what would later become Asea Brown Boveri (ABB) met in the BLUME. One can speculate about what exactly it was they discussed or even agreed on in the traditional hotel in Baden. What remains a fact is that Charles Eugene Lancelot Brown and Walter Boveri founded Brown, Boveri & Cie. in Baden in 1891 . Then as well as today it holds true: meetings and seminars require an inspiring location if something great is to emerge from them.
