Banquets
1. Provisional reservations
Provisional reservations for our premises are kept free for a maximum of 4 weeks from the date of reservation, after which we must receive a final decision.
2. Number of persons
The number of persons, which we have been informed of 2 working days before the event, is absolutely binding and will be charged as a minimum.
3. Extension
On Friday and Saturday, an extension until a maximum of 2:00 a.m. can be arranged. For this we charge (according to LGAV) a service surcharge of CHF 70.– per 25 persons and per hour.
4. Special
- For brought-in wine bottles we charge a corkage fee of CHF 27.– per bottle.
- For delivered cakes we charge a cake fee of CHF 4.50 per person for service and cover.
- For table decorations made by the hotel, we charge CHF 3.50 per person.
Of course, you can also bring or arrange for them yourself. We will be happy to assist you in your choice of a florist. - For events that span both meal times (noon and evening), the following rates will be charged on Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday (noon and evening) (expected lost revenue):
Ladies’ Salon: CHF 1200.–
Art Nouveau room: CHF 3500.–
This does not apply to the “Aqua” Seminar Room, as no food is served there. These costs are incurred only if a) the event lasts longer than 5:00 p.m. or b) begins before 4:00 p.m.
5. Cancellation fees
If the client withdraws from the event, the work already done (including consulting) and a lump sum for lost profit will be invoiced. The latter includes the prospective turnover (according to the menu or seminar discussion).
The following approaches apply here:
Up to 45 days before the event: | free of charge |
44 to 30 days before the event: | 25% of the projected revenue |
29 to 15 days before the event: | 50% of the projected revenue |
14 days until the day of the event: | 100% of the projected revenue |
If no services have been offered or agreed upon, we charge CHF 20.– per person for aperitifs and CHF 50.– per person for banquet or seminar events.
Seminars
1. Provisional reservations
Provisional reservations for our premises will be held for a maximum of 4 weeks from the date of reservation, after which time a definitive decision must be taken.
2. Number of persons
The number of persons, which is communicated to us 2 working days in advance, is absolutely binding and will be charged as a minimum.
3. Seminar packages
Confirmed packages are valid for the duration of your stay. In the case of booked packages, individual meals or coffee breaks not taken cannot be reimbursed.
4. Premises
If the room booked is no longer suitable due to a change in the number of delegates, we will rebook the event in a suitable room.
5. Cancellation fees
If the client withdraws from the event, the work already done (including consulting) and a lump sum for lost profit will be invoiced. The latter includes the projected sales according to the seminar discussion.
The following costs apply:
