Cupid in the atrium

Was the Roman god of love ever in Baden? No one can know for sure. One thing is sure: The Romans felt comfortable here in the midst of the bathing quarter, where the Blume is located. First mention of the Gasthaus zur Blume was made in 1421. In 1840, a beautiful addition, the atrium with a Mediterranean flair, was built. The gallery with its atrium is popular all year round – especially for wedding receptions.

Eternal love on a precious parquet floor

The actual ballroom, conveniently connected to the atrium, is a feast for the eyes from ceiling to floor. From the ceiling frescos to the elegant parquet floor –  all of it as stunning and lasting as it should be for a wedding. The extraordinary room creates an open, spacious atmosphere with any number of guests.

Damensalon: Kissed by the muses

The muses that adorn the Damenalson directly adjacent to the ballroom gladly contribute to any elaborate celebration. They stand for fortune and success – even Juno / Hera is here, the wife of Zeus, and – most appropriately – the goddess of marriage.

Wedding Arrangement "Blumen Bouquet"

The following combination is popular for weddings: 

• ½-hour aperitif with Prosecco and delicious treats
• Seasonal four-course menu
• ½ bottle of red or white wine from our own vineyard
• 1 litre of mineral water
• Generous wedding cake
• Coffee / espresso / tea with pastries à discrétion
• Desired flower decorations by our florist
• Elegant printed menu
• Room rental, including night surcharge, up to 2 a.m. flat rate: CHF 180.– per person (option without aperitif and wedding cake: CHF 155.–)

What Federal Councillors already know: The special charm of this hotel and the wide range of activities for young and old offered in Baden make a stay here worthwhile. The following special rates are valid for weddings:

• Standard double room: from CHF 220.- per night
• Small double room with queen-sized bed: from CHF 200.-
• Single room: from CHF 155.-
• Lavish breakfast buffet

Damensalon.

About 30 m², for about 20 guests. A work of art in itself or in combination with the Belle Epoque Saal.

Atrium

The interior gallery with a Southern European atmosphere and skylight makes any apéro a delight even in rain or snow. Take the legendary "Schindler" lift no. 2 – a historic monument of the Swiss lift engineering – to the 2nd floor.
