Baden and wine – a perfect pairing, like a fine vintage in a crystal glass. From 28 April to 4 May 2025, the city will celebrate its rich winemaking heritage with the very first Baden Wine Days. For an entire week, everything will revolve around grape varieties, tastings and the fine art of indulgence. Why you shouldn’t miss the event? We’ll fill you in!
Deeply rooted winemaking tradition
Ancient Romans already knew: a good life needs good wine. No surprise then that they settled in Baden, where excellent wines were produced also back in the day. This long-standing winemaking tradition will now be brought to full fruition during the Baden Wine Days.
From local vineyards to top-notch tastings, this is your chance to experience the full variety of the region while learning more about the history and craftsmanship behind Baden’s wines. Whether you’re a seasoned connoisseur or new to the world of wine, all you need to bring is interest in (and/or thirst for) something new!
Why are we so excited about this event? Because winemaking has always played a key role at BLUME. The former hosts, the Borsinger family, served their own homegrown wine. Today, the proprietary Ammonit variety comes from the town of Wettingen, where Silvio and Patrik Erne cultivate Pinot Noir and Rivaner grapes on three vineyard plots with finest limestone soil.
More than just wine: a fest for the senses
Beyond exquisite wines, the Baden Wine Days offer culinary delights, live music and exciting events all dedicated to wine. It’s an indulgent experience that will delight not only your palate but also your heart.
And after a full day of tasting? Your BLUME. room awaits you with a wonderful night’s sleep. Our cosy rooms allow you to drift into sweet dreams after an evening filled with fine wine.
So if you love wine, you’ll definitely love Baden and its Wine Days!
Come along, taste the finest wines of the region, and treat yourself to a wonderful stay at BLUME.
