A House That Welcomes the World

That is how international our guest book was last year. People from near and far made BLUME. their home away from home in 2025 – whether for a short stopover or a longer stay.
The longest journey led from New Zealand to Baden. Twenty-eight hours on the road – and then arriving at BLUME. Stories like these remind us what true hospitality means: being able to arrive, no matter where you come from.
Moments of Indulgence That Stay with You
1,535 portions of Afternoon Tea were served in the atrium in 2025 – with and without Secco.
Countless conversations, delicate pastries, steaming teapots and that special sense of calm that comes when time is taken. Thank you for so many delightful afternoons filled with laughter, exchange and small escapes from everyday life.
Water, too, shows how naturally enjoyment and daily life belong together at BLUME.:
5,257 litres of Baden water were poured – almost 11,000 full glasses. Not including banquets. Simply so. Because it is part of who we are.
Love is in the Air
Twenty-two love stories began at BLUME. in 2025.
Weddings, engagements, quiet promises and grand emotions – once again, our house was the setting for truly special moments. Every single “yes”, every glance and every celebration reminded us why BLUME. has always been a place for matters of the heart.
Thinking, Meeting, Moving Forward
A total of 149 seminars took place at BLUME. in 2025.
Exchange, new perspectives, focused work and inspiring conversations – our house once again became a place where ideas were given space and people came together to think ahead.
Energy from Our Own Efforts
Using our own heat pump, around 100,000 kWh of energy were produced in 2025. This corresponds to approximately 500,000 kilometres driven in an electric car – or about 12.5 times around the world. A comparison that shows the potential of renewable energy and how naturally it has become part of our everyday life.
Curiosity Around BLUME.
In 2025, 929 teams took part in the Foxtrail Baden – including 728 children and 2,890 adults. Experiencing so much curiosity, movement and joy of discovery around our house is a pleasure and shows just how lively Baden truly is.
People Who Stay
Fifteen team members and one apprentice ensure, day after day, that our guests feel welcome.
Especially lovely: almost the entire team comes to work on foot or by bicycle – all but two. A small detail, perhaps, but one that says a great deal about our everyday life, our paths and our mindset.
Thirty-five years of loyalty.
Our longest-serving team member has been part of BLUME. for more than three decades. Thank you for this wonderful bond, for knowledge, heart and continuity. Without people like her – and without our wonderful guests – BLUME. would not be what it is. ☻
